Our beds are designed for a continuous load of up to 250 kg.

The price of the bed depends on several factors: what materials are used (we have beds made of wood, metal, fabrics and a combination of them), what textiles are used, how elaborate the quilting in the headboard is and, of course, the size of the bed. Any combination of size, material and design can affect the price of the bed.

We design our beds to maximize the support of our mattresses. For example, a solid slatted base can provide firmer support, while slatted frames can provide better shock absorption. In addition, the combination of bed and mattress can affect the seat height of the bed. Whether a bed system is open or closed makes a bigger difference. In the case of a closed system, we recommend airing and rotating the mattress regularly to allow the accumulated moisture to escape from the bed. All Emma beds already take this factor into account and are designed to be very open.
