In addition, the combination of bed and mattress can affect the seat height of the bed. Whether a bed system is open or closed makes a bigger difference. In the case of a closed system, we recommend airing and rotating the mattress regularly to allow the accumulated moisture to escape from the bed. All Emma beds already take this factor into account and are designed to be very open.
