• Existing data on the benefits of weighted blankets in healthy adults is limited. Still, one study has found that when using a weighted blanket, 60% of patients fell asleep faster, 40% of patients slept longer, 50% of patients had increased sleep efficacy, and 40% of participants snored less (Stevens & Roby, 2019).  

Combat anxiety and insomnia.

• Most studies using weighted blankets are carried out on individuals with anxiety, depression, or insomnia. Studies have demonstrated that weighted blankets can relieve self-reported stress and reduce anxiety’s pulse rate (Becklund & Nudo, 2021).
