Will the bed be delivered assembled?

Accepted Answer

The bed frame arrives in three boxes (two if you order only the bed base) with a step-by-step instruction booklet included, so you’ll know exactly what goes where. It should take roughly 15 minutes to assemble. No extra tools needed!

How is the bed delivered?

Your Signature bed will arrive in 3 packages between 18-38kg each.

If I assemble the frame the wrong way, does this void my warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, incorrect assembly will invalidate your bed’s warranty. But we do include the tools and brochure you need with your delivery, so this shouldn’t be an issue.

Is the Emma Signature bed available in smaller sizes?

Our Emma signature is not available in smaller sizes. We offer the following bed sizes: Double bed, King size bed, Super King size bed.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

It doesn’t, but you can always add one of our award-winning Emma mattresses to your purchase. On the configuration options above, just click on "yes" for "Add a mattress" and choose which mattress you want to add. The mattress will be delivered together with the Ottoman bed frame.

Can I use another headboard with this bed?

Accepted Answer

No. Our Emma Signature bed is optimised for easy and fast assembly thanks to click and lock technology, which is not compatible with other headboards assembly system. Likewise, the Emma Signature headboard is not designed to fit other bed bases.

Do I need a foundation or box spring base?

Accepted Answer

The foam and fabric-encased frame in our Emma Bed Basic supports the mattress without a foundation or box spring base. It’s designed to give a stable, easy-to-assemble surface, while the FlexiSlats provide optimum pressure relief.

Can I use an electric or adjustable slatted frame?

Accepted Answer

The Emma Signature bed is supplied with a slatted frame that is matched to the bed and ensures ultimate support. If you still want to use a different frame, it is possible, but depends on the model/design of the new frame. Please note that replacing the frame will void the warranty

I have my own slatted frames; can I use them?

Accepted Answer

The Emma Signature Bed comes with a frame that includes a slatted frame specially designed for the bed and providing optimal support. If you still want to use another slatted bed base, it is possible but it depends on the model and construction of the new bed base. Warning: if you replace the slatted bed base, the warranty is no longer valid.
